What Is Blueprint for Womanhood?
Blueprint for Womanhood is a rites-of-passage program designed to nurture identity, confidence, and belonging for Black girls.
We create intentional spaces where girls are:
Seen without performance
Guided without pressure
Supported by community
This work is rooted in culture, care, and legacy.
Who We Serve:
Black girls (typically ages 13–17)
Parents and caregivers seeking culturally rooted support Community members invested in the
well-being of Black girls
Why This Work Matters
Becoming a young woman should be honored — not rushed. BFW exists to slow the process down, restore cultural grounding, and surround girls with guidance that affirms who they are and who they are becoming.
